The first step towards membership is that your firm provides basic information to ADLiB – we will require: the name of the individual we are to deal with; the full address and contact details; a brief note on the activity/history of the organisation.
Once your application has been received and reviewed, ADLiB will then require you to send for appraisal an example module/section of a distance-learning programme (if hard copy) or a link to an example of any on-line or electronic version.
Then, we will, using as appropriate our panel of experts, review the programme to assess it, with the aim of providing an unbiased and professional educator’s view.
During the certification processes, ADLiB, which has high ethical and quality standards, will test and evaluate third-party distance learning products with the aim of providing suitable levels of quality assurance, which can be relied on by users seeking business information products available via distance learning.

Once we have made the assessment – usually within a few weeks – we will give you any constructive feedback and if successful, we will provide your firm with a certificate of its membership of ADLiB, which can be used in connection with your products.
